I'd love to change my front forks out to the chrome ones. Curious how big of a job it really is? If anyone has done it yourself, how many hours did it take you? Any info is appreciated, thanks
Gonna be doing this myself, been trying to polish out my stickers but just can't seem to get them fully mirrored, found some chrome exchange ones on eBay for 170.00

That don't seem like to bad of a price! I just thought i'd buy new from Zanotti's but might have to rethink that. I'm sure it wouldn't be all that tough, was gonna ask my stealer how much they charged to do it on my 1,000 mile service. After the 1,000 mile, gonna start doing the changes myself.
I am having my local stealer do this to my ride as I type. Front end completely chromed - tins, forks, bolts, rotors, - winter special $700 complete - they even picked up the bike and will bring it back.
Need any specialty tools? Do you have to hang the front part of the bike up or what?
Had the bike up on a jack. Used a piece of PVC for the seals, coupling I think, no other special tools. May take longer for a fairing bike, I did my Road King. haven't done my Road Glide yet.
