21" is pretty much a bolt on and a 23" you'll have to make changes with rake.

Cool

That's why I am wondering if its worth it... As far as I know I would need a new tripple tree and fender extension mounts. Wonder how much the ride is compromised as well.

I have a fender for sale in the sale section.I had a stock fender stretched 2.5" for my 21" would fit great on a 23". Its all metal no fiber glass.

For a 21...you have to lower the front end about 2 inches to compensate for it.

With a 23...you leave the height in the forks alone, but use triple trees for a trike. Adds 4 degrees of rake.

26...you have to rake the frame AND use trike trees to save the trail.

Native baggers makes a kit to use the stock fender with these mods.

I have already lowered the front forks.. Was trying to stay away from fender mods if possible. I have seen several diff kits with triple tree rake up to 7 degrees without changing the frame.

23" wont fit stock fender right?

You still have to drill the back bolts on your fender for tire clearance with both rim sizes.

With the 23" wheel you need brackets to raise your fender if you want to use the stock one. Paul Yaffe makes them, Hogpro carries them.........

You should introduce yourself THEN ask for help.

Thank people when they give you good info.

Welcome to the Forum, Mattsg103,

Plenty of help on here from all the loyal ryders out there.

The largest wheel size you can go without making any modifications to your 11' Street Glide is the 21" x 3.5, with a max tire of 120/70-21. If you move up to a 23" wheel you will have to make more changes including the rake and the stock fender.

Most of our customers are very surprised to hear that the 21 x 3.5 size front wheel will fit on the the stock Street Glide.

In some case we have heard of customers having to remove the fender and drill the fender mounting holes a drill size larger and put the fender back on. This allows the fender to be pulled up a little bit in the back of it to make sure it does not rub the tire. This is not needed all of the time but you should definitely check the clearances of your stock fender once you install the wheel and tire on the bike.

Check out our tech articles
that explain this further.

I hope you find what you are looking for. We also carry kits, spacers, and front fenders. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Ryd Safe.
