Default kickstand worries

So i'm finding out different stuff daily about the HD brand, and i'm a little woried about the kickstand. I am new to the locking type kickstand, has it ever failed? When i put it down with the bike in neutral the bike always moves a bit and the kickstand seems to always act like it's gonna fold back to the up position? I was looking and there is nothing broke as to what i can see, i dig how it locks when there is presure on the bike but everytime i put it down it spooks me. Am i worried for nothing?

I'm not aware that it is locking, and I would never park in Neutral, so I'm not planning on finding out whether it locks

It'll be okay, don't worry. I always have my bike in neutral while it's warming up. Yes it does lock.

The harley jiffy stand does lock in place when the weight of the bike is on it, but it is scary, it seems like it wants to roll forward, But it wont.

Haven't had a kickstand fail since I bought a Harley without a kicker arm as its only means of starting, And the best part is no kick-back from the starter button!!!

The reason that it "moves" is to raise your heartbeat for the ride that you're about to experience ... but ... not to worry ... they've (the Jiffy Stand ) has always done that!
