What is the best seat Ican purchase for my 05 ultra? I would like for it to have the same dimensions as the stock seat. The seat is about 15 inches wide. the stock seat is killing me.

stay away from diamond custom seats... mark hartco won't listen or read emails.. he'll send you what he wants and it won't be a useable seat..

that said i've heard good things about c and c.. i get enough money again i'll go with them like i should have.

You'll have different opinions but a mustang tour with a backrest is pretty darn comfortable. Check ebay. I got a used seat like new for $300. I added the mustang backrest later.

Just added a Mustang wide touring seat. WOW, this is great! Should have done it 5 years ago. Foam in stock seat had crushed down over time, sitting me on the pan. The Mustang is an inch higher now, but after break in, who knows. All I know is it is super comfy.

I have an '05 Ultra... I have tried everything out there. While seats are definitely personal choice, you will not find anything better or more comfortable than the Russel Daylong seat. I am on my send version of the seat after 53k miles on my first one.
