Default Clutch

The advantage of the Rock-A-Bye clutch (Rocker) is you don't have to balance on one foot until you get ready to take of. Then you will have to step down on it to engage it. I ran one for about 15 years. It was a blast.

You can take an old clutch cable and just run it to the foot clutch. Pretty easy mod.

I had not thought about having only one foot available when coming to a stop. One would have to keep one foot on the clutch peddal, assuming one was using such a system, when he/she stopped or would need to be able to find neutral easilly, regularly, with confidence. A bike is not like a car where one simply places the shifter in a central location regardless of what gear one is in when they decide to stop.

EFM or Rekluse are both good auto clutches, but Rekluse rules the offroad world. I had a Rekluse on two different YZ450 dirt bikes and they worked flawlessly.

I run the Rekluse auto clutch in my dirt bikes too. They can take a beating and have never given me any problems.
I know a guy that has one in his ultra and he loves it too.
I think the foot clutch set up is cool, but I also think it would have a bit of a learning curve.

You can get a rocker clutch. Heel toe. Which is NOT a suicide clutch. A suicide clutch is either in or out. You'll need the adapters for the frame.if your bike is 05 or newer to adapt the clutch to the frame. And they make.one. I just sold a completed set up for an.05 soft tail. If ya put the shifter up on the tanks its a tank shift. Near the primary is a jockey. But none of it is called suicide except for the foot pedal that's in or out. Sorry. Pet peeve of mine.

I have a one off custom made tank shift set up. What year is your bike? How many gallon tank? I'm gonna sell the tank shifter assembly. It looks like NOS from the 40's. Shoot me a on I'll text you pics.

I'm glad you mentioned this. I, for one, did not know why it is called a suicide shift. Nor did I know the differences.

It does not appear that ReKluse has products for Harley Davidson. They appear to have products for metrics only.
