Jockey foot shift combo?

So I like the jockey shift look but also like to be able to hammer the gears by foot. I have heard many people say that jockey shifts are not the best in traffic, so I have thought about an idea. I was thinkn of fabbing a jockey shift and foot combo allowing the best of both worlds. Should I flush this down the crapper or would it be cool. I have some linkages from aircraft that i have had for a while and would like to use them for this. Good idea or bad in your opinion?

Well unless you do some major modding your left foot normally operates the clutch so unless you put the clutch on the shift lever or have a right hand clutch its gonna take a bit of fiddling to say the least

I think it's a great idea to have the option for both if you can pull it off. I have no idea how you would do it since the foot control on the left would have to be capable of shifting and operating the clutch in order to be able to have both.

I wouldn't waste the effort, just get the jockey. I have one and don't have a problem with traffic at all. I think a lot of the disadvantages have been over blown.
