Default 1" Lowered Kickstands ...

OK.. I searched on here and did some calling of our sponsors .. Who makes a kickstand to fit the 2012 Street glide 1" lowered??.. I found a lot sell them for up to 2008 .. then the frame changed in 2009 and again in 2010.. so most think they don't have something that will work on a 2012 any body got any thoughts or know where to get one?? thanks.. Len

frame the same 2009 to present.

some of us bend the jiffy stand- easy and cheap.

simply a matter of heating the jiffy in the center until cherry red, then leaning the bike to desired angle...let cool.

touch up the paint with some black and all done.

this should not be done on concrete ( as it holds moisture and can fracture)- a piece of sheet steel on the ground is nice

I have been looking also, could only find a 1 inch extended stand for the 21 or 23 wheels from performance machine.

The shop that originally lowered my bike dropped it 2 inches by accident. I had to go to a shorter kick stand. Arlen Ness makes a shorter kickstand that is pretty decent. Helped me out some. But didnt totally compensate for the problem I had. My bike still looked nearly straight up on the stand.

I later had my front end taken a part and fixed so I only had a 1 inch drop (by a different shop of coarse). It sits great now on the AN kickstand!

I ordered a 1" lowered kickstand from Dennis Kirk that was specifically made for the 2009 and up Touring Bike. It is made by Arlen Ness and the Dennis Kirk Part #: 508410

My bike is already lowered 1" in the front and 1" in the back and this kick stand works perfect for having sufficient lean.

I put 11" Bitchin Bagger Drop shocks on my 2008FLHRC . shorter kickstands got bad reveiws in my reaserch and were pricy ,

i bought a DragSpecialtys WEDGE thingy that bolts under the kickstand mount to change the angle .

Works great , thrifty . easy to instal.

i bought mine cheap on ebay from denniskirks smash and dent sales pakage wasa new just resealed

it was like $11
