Sorry you are having to sell the bike. Sounds like it's all fixed-up and ready to ride some now. Most of those are mods anyone would like. You shouldn't have any problem selling it at this time of the year. However, unfortunately, as we all know most if not all of the after market mods we do will retrieve very much resale value. Hoping you will find someone that appreciates what you have done to that bike. There will be some guys that will say that they don't like a bike with mods, they want an ugly ***, poor performing stock bike. Luckily that's not what you have!!

When someone comes to look at your 2011 RKC w/ 13,500 miles on it, I don't think your long list of add-ons is going to make much of a difference. It is still a 2011 Road King with 13,500 miles on it. You can ask whatever you think all those extras are worth, but it is not likely you will get anything extra for them. Book value is just that and very little, if any, more. You can ask anything you want, but at the end of the day, book value is book value, especially when you have a bank looking at it for a loan. When I was presented with a similar situation a few years ago, I stripped most of the add-ons from the bike and returned it to stock. Then I sold the add-ons on Ebay. I did not get a huge price for the parts but at least I didn't have to give them away like I would have when I sold or traded the bike.

I agree, take what parts you can off, sell the bike and the parts seperate.
In your case, and many others, you probably have thousand of $ worth of extras on the bike, however, I dont think you would ever come close to selling the bike for Blue Book plus what you have in after market stuff. I think most people with just go with buying a new bike once you got at or near 2013 RK price. Good luck, sux either way
