Default Tire Recommendation for 2010 Ultra Classic

My bike = 2010 Electra Glide Ultra Classic.

Looking to order tires online and have indi instal. Below are the tires I've been able to find that appear to be a match for my bike:
1. Metzler ME 880
2. Michellin II Cruiser
3. Dunlop Elite Harley Davidson Replacement
4. Avon Cobra

I want to get the tire that gets the best grip on both wet and dry pavement. I live in Delaware and ride year round.

What say you? Which way should I go.

I don't have a recent model like yours, but I have used Avons on my Harleys since the 70s. None better IMHO! I currently have a Cobra and Storm on my Glide.

I use Michelin Commander II on my 2010 FLHTK.

Very happy with its durabilty and grip.

Far better than OEM Dunlops probably because the Dunlops degrade real fast.

Commander II's are awesome...running them on my Heritage now, 15,000 and still almost half the tread left...and still hold stick to the road wet/dry/hot/cold better than any tire I've ever tried. Have seen the same results from guys on baggers and will go to them on my Ultra when the time comes!

Yep, consider American Elites. Similar construction and durability as stock tire for way less. Check Jakewilson.com for price.

I agree.... American Elites...2010 FLHTC and they ran great! (when I had the 2010) 2012 FLHTC now and when they stop warranting those crappy stock tires I will go back to the Elites...

Gotta go with the Elites. Designed for the bike. Good in the rain. Great wear. Good vs road snakes. They come in narrow whitewall too.

American Elites. Have 17,000 miles and should get 20,000 with no problem. Order from Jake Wilson.

I'm not saying what I'm riding on, but I will say theirs none stickier. I expect about 6K on the rear if I'm lucky.
On subject now, I have recently found that my indy will not install a tire not purchased, and re sold by his shop. Insurance companies are creating a hella mess with the shops. Only place handy to me that will still mount a tire not purchased though them is Cycle Gear. And no telling just how much longer they will do that. Considering their great carry in mounting prices I have up until this last rear tire purchase bought all my tires from them. Buying the same tire and mounting from the indy would likely have been another 60+bucks. Only another $30-40 through Cycle Gear.
I believe I'm going to buy myself a changer soon.
And to the OP, I have run many tires, but only the Metz of the ones you have listed. I deliberately tried and easily skated my front 880 a couple of times. I had to know where the breaking point was.

You only get one player! I'm running Shinko rubber.
