well?..what's the "official" cause of the coolant puking?..does HD know?
...have been following the different threads on this issue, but have yet to hear of a common reason...dealers buying back bikes...dealers scratching their heads..dealers just refilling the tanks...replacing caps...anyone heard of any official company statement?

Service manager whom I trust told me on Friday that it's the overfill container caps that were manufactured not to exact spec which is causing the problems. They had a handful of new 2014's that have the leaking coolant.
Supposedly... factory is trying to address this NOW before it becomes more of a public relation's nightmare for them.

Maybe he meant the Radiator Cap or Neck?

If the system is operating properly you wouldn't even need a cap on the overflow container except to keep the coolant from splashing out.
