Default Bassani road rage 2-1 on 2007 electra glide. Question about fitment

I'm hoping someone on here has experience with the bassani road rage. I've tried contacting bassani themselves but can't seem to get through to anyone.

I have a 07 electra glide with only upgrade being a stage 1.

I am just making sure that if I order these pipes for my year that this will be the style of heads I get.

And not the ones where the rear section comes out into a donut shape.

Also what is the difference between the straight style muffler and the megaphone style?

The megaphone is like, well, a megaphone. It opens wider closer to the end of the pipe. Straight is like this:

I think you are confusing the power curve duals with the 2-1.

This is the donut style for the road rage I was talking about that I don't want to end up with.

That's a new one on me. Never seen that before. Leave it to bassani to try to reinvent the wheel (or exhaust)

Yea, I had one on a 2005. LOTS of heat, the wife complained all day she was getting burned up back there. It also radiated heat into the starter which I felt caused some hard starting. My indy made a small heat shield from some old exhaust parts that covered the solenoid, which helped. Finally pulled and sold them.
