Default Decision. 2007 Electra Glide vs 2001 Electra Glide

Looking at 2 used bikes. The 2007 has 106,000 miles and the 2001 has 27,000 miles. Ive talked to a few mechanics and most recommend the 2007. Any advise or opinions? The 2007 has all the service records since it was new.

Neither. Go 2002. The 01 will have mm fuel injection which can be a pain but the motor has a better bottom end.

Gotta love when you ask for a recommendation between 2 things, and someone answers with neither of those 2 things

You don’t mention prices for either one. There are many things to consider between the two and how much you want to put into each. Is the 01 carbed? You would want to upgrade the swing arm. Could be bored out to 95” easily, etc. It has the forged crank and good left bearing. It also has the lower miles.

Price is exactly the same. The 2001 is fuel injected.

I like the 07 with the 96" motor and 6spd but to many miles for my liking. I would keep looking IMO.

rk classic.

Why is the price so low on the 07, just because of mileage? I would think they would be asking a little more. What’s the rest of the condition of the bike?

I would go with the lower mileage bike personally.
