Default Slash Up or Slash Down?

Installing Street Cannons on 14 RK. Any advantages/disadvantages to having the tips installed slash up (from the side I assume /) or slash down (\)?

None that I'm aware of. I've ran with them both ways and see no difference. The choice is yours alone to make.

Other than looks and preference...nothing to gain w/performance. Personally, I like the "slash-up" option (/) so pipes flow w/bag lines.

Actually with the long side down, I'm not sure if that's called slashup or slashdown, but with the long side down, if you are on a slight down hill incline and it is raining, say at a PGR mission, rain can get in. Enough for problems? Nope. But something to consider none the less.

What little bit of moisture that would enter the tailpipe will be disbursed once the engine is fired and ran. It can make a sooty mess when exiting.

Slash down. It creates creates a nice wedge with the bags to make it more aerodynamic when moving backwards

As others have said, I did slash up, lines flow better with the bags.

I have slash-up on my '07 Ultra and I agree that it follows the form of the saddlebags. Looks better.....

The parts people did say that the direction of the slash (up, down or out the side) can make a difference of what the rider hears. What do they know?
Don't know but I like the looks of my slash-up.
