Default Aftermarket Faring For 2000 FLHR

I am looking for some advice and help. I purchased a 2000 FLHR and want to purchase the right faring for it. I have come down to to types.

1) AirMaster Airmaster Fairing with Sony DSX-S100 Receiver (found online for 1600)

2 )
Dragonfly 6X9 Detachable Fairing with stereo (online for 1000)

The airmaster comes HD vivid Black (same color as my bike) the dragonfly is primed and needs paint. Airmaster has a glove box the Dragonfly does not. I am leaning towards the airmaster now but would love to hear from anyone and everyone On what you have or help in deciding between these two, good reviews and especially bad reviews. I don't know how much i would use the stereo but would like to have one anyway.

I look forward to hear from everyone Thanks in advance for all the input

Search the form for customer service issues with dragon fly. I tried to order from them but could never get emails returned. Lots of other forum members reported similar issues with dragonfly. Research before you spend $

Check out Woody`s and Reckless. I`ve done hours of research on this subject. Woody`s is very good quality but he only mounts the speakers. You have to mount the stereo. Reckless is not quite as good but somewhat cheaper. Either of them would be a better deal than your two quotes. IMHO

I`m waiting on my tax return before ordering mine. Still undecided but leaning towards Reckless. (for today)

I installed Woody's on my RK. Good deal, fairing was well built and when I was ordering I talked to the owner/fabricator/secretary directly. Yep, he did everything at the time but that was a few years ago.
