Gents,
what is the recommended/suggested replacement battery for 2012 FLHX?

look for someone selling a street glide nearby and take it for a test ride. swap batteries, push it back onto the street and call them and tell them it died on you and come pick you up.

I'm with Fenderguy. Just replaced mine a week ago with this battery. 98 bucks shipped to your door, easy peasy installation. Took me less than 30 minutes taking my time cleaning the battery box, battery cables and greasing em.

I had a room-mate in the 80's had a bad motor in his car.
Rented a truck from budget and swapped motors over the week end.
I never trusted him with my money after seeing that.
the deka/east penn/ big krank will be at you door for around $100.
and you don't have to test ride a street glide, all touring models use the same battery...

Man, I got in a jam this past Friday. Battery light came on, got home and checked, found a cracked in half neg terminal.
Found an Autocraft AGM 400 cca for $136.00 at the local Advance Auto Parts.
Turns my 96 twin cam like a charm and had it for the end of bike week.
