BatteryMart.com. $99 with free shipping for the Big Crank with 400 CCA, which is 100 more than the original stock battery. I think I had the battery in three days with the standard shipping. You can also find the Big Crank and Deka on eBay.

The battery I bought this summer came from Advance Auto Parts. The Advance auto parts AutoCraft Brand , The Big Crank and the Harley batteries are all made by East Penn Manufacturing which also sells their brand called Deka. They are the exact same batteries with the exceptions of the poured post can be different from brand to brand. Using the online code with advance will give you a $40 online discount and free shipping or you can just order it to pick up in the store.

I am sticking with Harley, the first one lasted 7 years. Cant beat that. The replacement lasted 3 years till I sold the bike. Do not go cheap on the batterie. I did once and it only lasted a year. Battery from Battieris pluss. They suck.

With the coupons available for Advanced Auto, you certainly won't be able to find one less expensive then there. Couple that with the fact that they are Deka batteries (some of the best, if not the best on the market) and it's a great value for a high quality battery. And one of the others spoke the truth-- Big Crank, Harley, Deka, Advanced Auto are all East Penn batteries

Code WD37 gives you $50.00 off right now,

If you buy the battery from Harley you'll be assured of getting a good quality battery. I base this on my experience with HD batteries in five Harleys over the course of about 10 years. They are probably the most costly, and if you can buy the same thing elsewhere, cheaper, some would say: Why not? But I'd just go to the local dealer, give them their pound of flesh, and if I had any further issues with the battery, I'd have the convenience of being able to carry it straight back to them for an exchange. I guess i think of the extra money like 'insurance'. Not all do. YMMV.

100% agree. I'll pay $180 for a HD battery that will last me 5+ years. Keep hearing about guys who go cheap and end up replacing them every 2 or 3 years. Keep them on a tender in winter if you don't ride all year.

Default Deka Battery

When I replaced my battery all the information I found was that HD and Deka batteries were the same except for the HD case stampings.
I searched online and found a local Deka distributor about 10 minutes from the house. Cost was 100 so it saved me 80 bucks not having the HD logo on the battery.

Do a quick search there might be Deka distributor close by.
