I sat on a Freewheeler today
#21
The good news is with a good detachable windshield you can tour comfortably on these freewheelers. I recently did a trip out west and had a blast. Did a 650 mile day.
I put a 30 L and 20 L kriega dry bag side by side in the trunk and filled them with clothes and other things ; and put a jacket, a couple of shirts , a pair of gloves. some personal items etc. on top and locked it up. Worked great. Had clothes for 5 days. Including some for layering for changing road conditions. Wish I had more money , time and health . Being on the road is where I am happiest.
The great thing about the freewheeler is that once you get to your destination they handle city traffic with ease. Really made for zipping through traffic. (At least till you come to a bottleneck).
