Wondering where to mount my inspection tag on the tri glide?

 

I have mine on the frame by the oil filter primary drive side. I remove it to change oil works for me

 

Some states don't have inspection tags such as Georgia but I've seen parking passes and emission stickers stuck to the front fork. May want to check with your local authorities to see if they mandate a certain spot.

I guess I am in violation then I removed a transmission bolt on the right side and put the tag on it. I couldn't find a more clear spot for it to be seen. I'll check again tomorrow to see if I overlooked a spot.

 

When I bought my TG in Virginia, the dealer mounted a custom-made plate on a frame bolt beneath the left side passenger floor board. Dealer probably had a bunch of them stamped out. The plate just cleared the cross-over exhaust pipe. It could easily be seen by law enforcement.

I had to rework my plate a bit but I got it mounted on the left driver footrest bracket.

 

Mine's mounted down below, left side, behind floor board.
