Default Chrome Metal Valve stems

Does anyone on this site have chrome metal valve stems in there wheels? I have a garmin 590LM that can monitor tire air pressure but they require metal valve stems to be used. I am on ***** Shiny's waiting list for a new set of chrome rims, forks, rotors, spacers and baby moons so I would also like to find some chrome metal stems to compliment the new rims.

Thanks in advance.

Chrome (metal) valve stems are what are needed. Not just a pretty chrome cover.
(Centrifical force.)
They are needed when using the tire pressure monitoring caps.
Rubber valve stems with the little added weight of the TP monitoring caps can (maybe) cause the rubber to split.
Not a hard thing to get.
Just make sure when getting tires installed, they know you want steel stems.
I had them installed at my indy dealer when I got new tires.

Let me make sure I understand you correctly. You do have chrome METAL valve stems and they are on your factory rims on your Harley Trike? You said you had them installed at your INDY dealer. I am assuming this is a Harley dealer, would you have their name and I will call them and see if I can get them to send me three...thanks

If you go to J&P cycles, do a search for valve stems, you'll find these and lots of others.

I had metal stems installed on my Ultra.
I'me running Tire Gard air pressure screw-ons and they recommend metal stems.
Getting metal stems isn't a big deal.
wwwjpcycles.com part number is VS1218R.

It may not be a big deal getting them but I am concerned about figment on the front wheel since my dealer said they won't fit the trikes wheel. That's why I'm asking if anyone with a trike has the on their factory style wheels.
