freewheeler stage one results
Had a header from a 2012 cvo street glide, removed the cat.
Fuel moto open ac with pcv, factory mufflers with 3/8 inch holes for getting the vacuum in the muffler for tuning.
Results gave me a much much cooler tuning engine. The base map was very close as far as hp/tq are concerned. The f/a was the problem under 3,000 rpms.
I can make trips wit it now. It is a ball to ride with the heat almost gone.

A good tune and new cams sure will.
My plans are:
FullSac exhaust
TTS cams
Was going to change air cleaner but I'm hearing that the stock is fine until stage 2
Mufflers I have already ( Full Sac in garage waiting)

You can't go wrong with fulsac. I am using fuelmotousa new open ac on the free. It looks factory including the back plate. Has openings in the rear of mounting plate. Had a fit getting the lean mixture to richen between idle to 2,500 rpms. It's good now. I'll wait on cams until my warranty runs out.
Then stage 4 head work and tts 100 cams. If I need it. At this point I don't see needing it. I can out run goldwing trikes now with better mpg.

The TTS cams will take you much higher than 103 TQ so your AC will need to be changed as Casper said... Stage II takes a new AC. Just wanted you guys to know where the cut off was via Torque.

I agree with the both of you on both counts.
I went with the fuelmoto ac mainly because I got it for $70.
I am still surprised how good the free runs straight out of the box. Now with a stage one I am surprised how much it helped.
If I don't add the extended warranty I may do cams when the factory warranty runs out.
On touring bikes I rarely go inside unless it is really needed.
If I do I will get kevin at vtwin performance do the head work, I see it as a waist not to do heads when changing cams. That is how I think. I f I do cams I will have head work done, don't want to cut the cams performance short. Then I have to check the runout, cam plate, oil pump etc...
I r4eally like the free but the Goldwing is my main touring machine for me. The free is mainly for my wife if she will learn to ride. LOL I'm not holding my breath though.
