Well after much searching for information on Harley Stage 1 kit I finaly had one installed. What I got for my $300.00 was the new high flow air cleaner and the Harley down load.
This was what I wanted. I do no want any pipes at this time...No tuners.. no dyno time, and heat for me has never been an issue. I just wanted a little more better breathing of the engine at higher speeds.
Did I get it, yes. The engine with stock cans does not have any areas where it gets tight from lack of air. You really notice it from 3,000 rpm and up. Perfect for passing. Some one mentioned here once that Harleys FI only opens 80% till 3,000. A little after 3,000 is when it used to get tight. Now it will jump right up to 5 k with out any issue. Now is there any drawbacks for this minor change? Yes air intake noise is substatial with the stock mufflers. Mileage dropped a bit but maybe only 20 miles per tankfull. Benifets is a flatter torque curve just like the torque chart shows on Harleys web sight. I can feel it so I guess that its worth it. The test was a 260 mile highway run for lunch.........
Same results here, Old Man... I have the 103" kit, SE intake, stock headers & mufflers. I installed a PCV from FuelMoto and the additional fuel really work the engine up. Much nicer performance without all the noise of aftermarket mufflers.
I was hoping for a real one. I am guessing you did not have your bike dynoed? I was more after what the afr looked like with just the hd download. I have a 2011 RGU with SE a/c and street legal harley slip ons with a SESPT on the way (supposed to be here tomorrow) so I was wondering if the afr is in the ball park with the hd download.

Sorry MTClassic about the dyno time but I did mention in the original post that I am not concerned about it, and won't ever get it done.
Ahhh, Famous last words..."A Guy has just gots to know"
As long as you are happy and it starts easy and runs strong with you and your passenger that is all that matters.
But, I will offer this it of advice, keep an eye on fuel and the next service station.
while 20 miles doesnt seem far, 20 miles each way is actually 40 miles total !
Enjoy the Ride.
