Quick solution to add 12V / 5V to FLRT trunk
Another quick and clean way to add 12V power to Freewheeler trunk area. Harley part number #69201099
1) Review and adapt HD instructions for part number (contains "warnings" that may apply to some)
2) remove plastic plate in trunk, drill 7/8 hole and install socket, route cable under seat and ty wrap as needed
3) plug into aux socket under left panel
4) reinstall plate and socket,
Provided 12V, or plug in usb converter to charge 5V devices
Start to finish about 10 minutes
One of multiple ways to get more power

Just left of top center of trunk, expand pic and you can see the lid strap to the right. And two bolt head holding plate. With size of bolts used suspect HD has/had future plans for the plate.
