I've gotten as little as 8,000 miles out of a stock front tire (lots of aggressive riding in the curves) and as much as 18,000 out of a stock front tire.
I am on either my 6th or 7th front tire on Tri-Glides.
That is going to slow down though. I currently have a rear tire, mounted in reverse, that has 20,000 miles on it and it still has about 50% of the tread left.
Avon is now making a front tire specifically for Trikes that has extra depth tread.

Hey it just occurred to me in one of the posts, "we don't bank in curves" so....why doesn't someone make a front tire just for Trikes? Maybe someone does, and I've been living in my shoe box again If so enlighten me, and a few others I imagine. Can we put a bug in the ear of the tire suppliers to possibly design one just for Trikes. Sorry didn't mean to hijack the OP's thread but it just seemed like the place to ask the question.
Ride safe, enjoy.

It has been all nearly all city riding and I ride hard round the corners in hot weather so that will help the faster wear rate.
