Default 2011 rear belt change

Hi everyone,
I just returned from Octoberfest and turned over 59K miles on our 2011 TG. For a winter project I am going to upgrade the alternator to the new high output that Harley has just come out in the new parts book. While I had the front primary opened up I was also thinking about a new rear belt. My belt isn't that bad but I have the time this winter. I like to do all my own wrench work ( I really don't trust anyone else ). Does anyone know of a good instructional manual with photos? I have read thru the service manual several times and it doesn't do a very good job of explaining procedures. Any info or opinions would be much appreciated.

Thanks Gary

If the belt is still in good shape I'd just keep on running it. The stator price seems kind of steep for only 4 more amps, 50 amp stock vs 54 amp for the high output.

Cant help with a better manual but it would be a good time to go thru your clutch pac also. Bet you already thought of that.

I'd have to agree with this. Unless your belt shows some obvious signs of failure down the the road, I would leave it alone. You have already changed out your lighting to LED so that right there puts less draw on your stock stator.
