Default Who has changed bars with least hassle?

I have read numerous threads on changing bars on touring models. So on the trike who has changed bars to something with more height and pull back without changed all cables and hoses ect? Advice or recommendations are requested ? Photos would be a big bonus while sitting on trike. I want to do this over the long winter off season I think.

Thanks in advance

Hap

I installed the Harley Reach bars on mine. Cables and hoses are long enough, but just barely. I actually plan to install a set of Guerilla cable extensions over the winter since I really don't like how tight the existing ones are.

Installation was overall very straightforward, much easier than any Harley touring bike I have ever done. Only 1 connector to pull apart for internal wiring (TBW) and it's not difficult. Biggest PITA to me was the left switch housing. It's just a pain to get in the right position to lock down properly.

Total time for install with no help was about 3 hours. With help, and after doing the first one, this can be dropped to probably less than 2 hours.

Hope this helps!

I plan on the same conversion on the wifes trike this winter. I was wondering about that brake line. So to do it right it needs to be a longer line? If so how much longer using the HD reach bars.

Installed the Harley reduced reach with help of a friend. Not that difficult. Took about three hours. Cables/wires were plenty long.

Hmmm, somethings not right. The HD dealer here in Canada quoted me 8 hrs labour @ $120 per hr, so $960 just for labour...WTH?

Local shop here says you need the brake line and cables. Labor will be about $450. Hate to buy that and then not need it.

The dealer told me that the only thing that has to be altered is the switch(s), brake lines and everything else is ok as is.
I have a 2015. I think I read that the 2013's and under does have to have more alterations. Not totally sure on this though.
