I'm looking to replace my Samson Rip Saws (drag pipes). They are a complete exhaust system I believe and I want to go to a normal exhaust set up but I do not have any of the stock exhaust parts such as header pipes, heat shields, or the crossover. Interested in picking these up so I can just grab a slip on.

 

...thought I could help you out, but all I have left is the stock mufflers.

I have the stock header pipes and crossover from a '96.

They are kinda blue near the heads.

Condition? Any pictures?

 

Well, I don't have any pictures of mine. They have been wraped up and stored in my attic garage for a long time. Condition wise, I would give them a like new condition on the pipes. The chrome covers I would say they are at least if not better then an 8 out of 10 as the front cover, very bottom has a rock gouge in it ... not noticed when installed on the bike... as I didn't see it till I was taking the pipes off.

On my bike, I had drags on it... Got tires of the loudness and wen back to stock mufflers.. Didn't put the stock pipes back on, just cut off the straight pipes to length and put the stock mufflers back on.. That just left me with the stock headers and cross-over. Been wrapped up in plastic bag for several years.

Attic is not easily accessable to get to just to take pictures.. besides that, I have never really learned how to post pictures on the forums. I think I would have to get a host like photo bucket to host pictures for me... and then I don't know how much that would cost.

 

I have the exhaust system off of an 07 with 700 miles on them.

 

Hows the condition? Any pics? Should mount up to my bike right?
