Default Back tire

I hear alot about people putting car tire on back of bikes.what benefit does this have.dous it handle the same.

They call it "The dark side" but they should call it "The cage side" or something. "The dark side" should refer to blacked out bikes. Then there is "The high side" for the tall front tire fad, and "The wide side" for the fat front tire craze which may not take off like the tall tire fad. Then, of course is "The low side" for air ride bikes, "the raked side", or how about "the swoopy side", bikes with long swoopy rear ends. I don't know, I just think "The dark side" for car tires don't make sense. But car tires on back of touring bikes does make sense. I may go there some day. I still have a lot of tire left on my RK and have a pair of new takeoffs from a 15 RK I bought for $50. So maybe after that. The dark side forum does have some pretty interesting threads. Enjoy.
