hey guys trying to decide between a corbin classic solo and backrest or the studed mustang seat with backrest. i like the looks of the corbin seat but i dont think it will work with my motherwell luggage rack and im pretty sure the mustang seat will.


does anyone no if the motherwell rack will work with the corbin classic solo seat

I have the corbin hollywood solo and no it wont work because of the way they hook up with the lock.

 

thanks trotter thats a shame i like the looks of the corbin seat better my last ride had a dual tour corbin seat and i really liked it.

oh well i guess the mustang seat will have to do because i have to have my rack for trips oh well such is life

It is a shame because this is the first seat I've had that looks the way I want and I can ride all day no problem. Best money I Spent.I'd call them they may have a fix for you, or can custom fit for the bracket. Worth a try..

 

There is a Motherwell rack that will work with minor modifications.

Yes it will............ need an extra solo seat bracket and a few chrome nuts and bolts.
I have the 7" rack mounted behind my Classic Solo.
