1938 Harley Flathead: Rider’s Machine of Choice

1938 Harley Flathead

We spotted the broken in bike over on Mecum’s site, where it joins a host of other incredible Harleys at this year’s Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. There’s little information on the bike’s history, but it looks pretty original from the pictures. Despite the obvious use and wear, it’s also clear that the previous owner(s) took great care of the bike as well.

Besides, who wants a 100 point restored UL Flathead? These bikes were made to be ridden, and ridden hard. This is a vintage two-wheeler you can take out and enjoy. Just like H-D intended!
