Watch a 1942 Harley-Davidson WLA Do a Burnout

While burnouts are certainly not an uncommon occurrence in the world of Harley-Davidson motorcycle, today’s video isn’t quite as simple as your regular everyday burnout. This isn’t some guy destroying his rear tire on his Street Bob or an Ultra Limited. In fact, today’s video has a rather unusual characteristic about it — the bike that the burnout is being performed with is seventy-four years old. Yes, we said seventy-four.

This is a 1942 Harley-Davidson WLA, and it is a beauty. It’s unusual to see any old hogs out there, so seeing this one actually being used is even more extraordinary. The burnout isn’t particular large, since it would seem terrible to abuse such an outstanding bike, but it is something. It also proves that even in its old age, this hog has some muscle, and we’re glad for it!
