Biggest. Baddest. Fire Breathing? 10 Must-See Motorcycles
TechZone video compiles the ’10 Weirdest Motorcycles in the World,’ including a skull-riffic Harley with glowing orange eyes.
Need some ideas on how to customize your bike? Look no further than the YouTube video “10 Weirdest Motorcycles in the World” from TechZone. The clip has almost two million views and features bikes of epic invention. We’re talking not only longest and biggest, but bikes that can fly, breathe fire, and would scare the bejesus out of you in the middle of the night.
The 10-minute weirdest motorcycles video is pretty entertaining. In fact, TechZone‘s YouTube channel has over one million subscribers featuring 320 videos which have amassed a total of over 230 million views!
First up in the weirdest bikes video is “Longest Motorcycle.” At 86.3 feet long, this creation from India was recognized as the longest motorcycle in 2016. Its noteworthiness allowed it to be included in the Guinness World Records’ 2016 book. The bike’s creator Bharat Sinh Parmar had to drive 320 feet without help in order to be eligible for the record of longest bike. “This was actually not an easy task,” says TechVideo, “because, despite its impressive length, the motorcycle has only two wheels which affects its stability and maneuverability.”
“Monster Motorcycle” is up next. This bike is 30 feet long, 11.5 feet tall, and weighs 30 tons! Created in Australia, this beast features a Detroit diesel engine and Caterpillar dump truck wheels. More than a few cars and vans have been crushed by the “Monster Motorcycle.” For entertainment purposes only, of course.
The third bike in the video is “Steampunk Scooter,” which is a hybrid scooter and submarine! “Most likely, this scooter was a kind of reference to The Beatles‘ hit, “Yellow Submarine,” opines TechVideo. Pictured in the main photo above, the bike features not only a barometer but also a loudspeaker which the driver uses while performing in chamber concerts all over Europe!
Fourth is “Skyrider One,” an electric scooter equipped with two motors of eight and 17 horsepower each. Weighing about 220 pounds, the bike’s power comes from two lithium batteries. Not only can it go a maximum distance of 75 miles at 35 miles per hour, but this bike can fly! The propeller on the back of the scooter allows it to be airborne for 30 minutes at a time.
Fifth in the weirdest motorcycles video is “War Horse.” The incredible monowheel bike has 60-inch wheels! “It’s worth noting that to drive the War Horse,” says TechVideo, “you need to have a well-developed sense of balance and not be afraid to fall, because the motorcycle is not stable at all.” The bike was included in the 2017 Guinness Book of World Records for being the world’s fastest monowheel motorcycle with a speed of over 60 miles per hour.
Next up is “Nightshadow’s Maiden.” The one-of-a-kind iron bike can reach up to 120 miles per hour and features a 1.2 liter V-twin engine. The most striking thing about the bike though is that it resembles the Jaguar logo. It even sounds like a growling jaguar when it’s motoring down the road!
Seventh in the video is “Truck Trike,” which combines a motorbike with an 18-wheeler truck cab. A seat behind the driver allows for two good buddies to ride along.
“King Skull Motorcycle” is eighth in the video. This classic Harley-Davidson FLHTCY is decorated front to back with hand-crafted metal skulls. In fact, the bike’s rear lights form the glowing orange eyes of the largest skull on the bike.
Ninth on the list is “Dragon Fire Bike.” How did it get its name? The head of a huge, fire-breathing dragon hangs directly above the driver. This two-seater is also equipped with two operable machine guns attached to the handlebar. We’re guessing this is in case one happens to run into a dragon slayer while cruising through Sherwood Forest.
The last motorcycle in the video is “Sci-Fi Bike.” A Thai artist crafted this cool machine out of scrap metal from old cars and motorcycles to resemble one of the creatures from the movie Alien.
Now, if only someone could combine all of the above into one bike…
