Box39 Onik is a Stunning Custom-Built Harley V-Rod

Attention to detail throughout Box39 creations is truly impressive, and the Onik is truly a masterpiece.

Russian custom bike outfit, Box39 has a soft spot for Harley-Davidson V-Rods, and their creations definitely grab your attention. We recently reported that Russian atelier’s Giotto 7 rides on a pair of rims that sport some of the most jaw-dropping wheel designs we have ever seen. The attention to detail throughout Box39 bikes is truly impressive, and today we’re going to take a look at one such motorcycle- the Onik.

Box39 is a Russian custom parts and design shop that has mastered the art of building truly stunning Harley V-Rod customs. From bodywork to performance, every little change is well thought out and makes a great difference. Even though Box39’s customs are heavily modified, the store ensures that the bike’s performance remains uncompromised, which is why Box39’s creations stand out so easily.

Much like its previous custom V-Rods, the piece de resistance of the Box39 Onik is its wheels. The black rims complement Onik’s matte black paint job, which is offset by the wheel’s silver accents. Onik’s rear-end rides on an 18-inch rim, and we find a 17-inch alloy upfront.

Like other Box39 V-Rod customs, Onik’s wheels were built in-house. Breathtaking rim designs are a matter of pride for Box39, which becomes evident as soon as you take a quick look at some of its notable projects like the Giotto 19, Giotto 15, and Giotto 16. To equip its custom two-wheelers with the perfect sets of wheels, the custom shop uses high-grade forged blanks that are made in the U.S., as per Box39’s exact design requirements.

For Onik, Box39 used in-house spares and parts, and the company did not source any components from third-party vendors. Several bits of the donor 2012 V-Rod were modified to match the final design. Rims, traverses, pulley, plug, and suspension were tweaked to achieve the desired result. Box39 also made some plastic additions and replaced the original seat.

Onik can be best described as the most menacing reproduction of the Harley V-Rod. Box39’s immaculate customization is a commendable achievement. Even though the Russian outfit built Onik back in 2020, so far, we do not have any information regarding its pricing.
