BUILDUP! A 2002 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Sport

Builds are exciting. They’re new, adventurous, and unpredictable. While we might hate them for all of those same reasons, those are also the reasons why we love them so much. After all, what fun would it be if every finished bike was handed to you? When something is too easy we tend to take it for granted. Think of that one kid that crashed the car that mommy and daddy bought for him. Or that guy in the BMW who abused the car to the point where others cringed. Everyone knows at least one person like that – unfortunately!

HDForums member astra has recently taken on a build of his own. It’s going well so far. astra has a 2002 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Sport and it’s already pretty nice! He bought it practically stock and with 11,000 miles on the odometer. In the short term astra’s looking to throw on a black Thunderheader with heat shields, an HD quarter fairing and mounting kit, 10-inch West Coast MX bars, Avon Cobra tires, and more! In the long term, astra’s hoping to do some motor work, including installing a big bore kit, as well as add some powder-coating and paint to his bike.

Be sure to check out astra’s build thread (link below) and show your support!
