BUILDUP A 2013 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe Project

Finishing a project is one of the most fulfilling moments in a Harley-Davidson fan’s life. It is too often that the build is either never completed or simply left to rot.

And sure, once you’ve completed a build it is fine to go back and work on it here and there to further perfect it. But you’ve gotta love that moment when a freshly finished project turns over and is ready to ride!

HDForums member skullphyre is nearly done with his 2013 Softail Deluxe build, and it looks just great. He installed a DK Custom 587 Air Cleaner, Vance and Hines Big Shot Longs, and an SE race tuner.

He also added some BB Reproduction bags and chrome pegs from DK Custom. In addition to all of that, the hog now sports Carlini 16″ Gangster Apes, SS braided cables, and more.

Very little is left in this build now. All that remains is floorboards for the passenger and a saddlebag guard before this Harley will be complete. We’ve got to hand it to skullphyre for getting this far and making his ride look as good as it does now.
