BUILDUP A Thunderbike Style Breakout Project
It isn’t always the easiest thing to get started on a build. Well, it isn’t always the easiest thing to follow through with a lot of plans we set for ourselves. This isn’t always because of some shortcoming on our part, but rather it is often a result of things that are beyond our personal control.

After all, we never know when something unexpected will occur, a new person will enter our lives, or the tables will simply turn. A lot of what happens isn’t something we play a direct hand in, and thus working on a build can be, quite sadly, postponed.

HDForums member skipper469 ended up having to delay his project a year because of unforeseen circumstances, but he is now, at last, getting started on the project he has been so anxiously awaiting, The goal of his build is to make a Thunderbike style ride out of his Harley-Davidson Breakout, and it is definitely coming along well!

So far skipper469 has added Thunderbike flat risers, RSD traction grips, Custom Dynamics Tru Wrapz fork turn signals, slotted black brake levers, a Blackline console, a Bassani 2-in-1 Road Rage exhaust, a Shorgun shock, and much more! He currently is planning to paint and install the Thunderbike front fender, rear fender, and chin spoiler. He will also soon be adding Battistini forward controls.
