Artist Marc Smolders creates one-of-a-kind artwork and furniture that fully embodies classic Harley style.

We came across the work of Marc Smolders on Instagram and we really dig its tattoo-inspired and vintage logo style. Smolders  creates unique items and sells them online through his company Alchimic Métamorphose. From furniture, to wood etchings, these are pieces created for diehard Harley fans.

Smolders creates the designs based on classic Harley-Davidson logos from the past 116 years. His work covers classic biker imagery, Harley’s military roots, and of course, a lot of cool bikes.

This military style trunk was inspired by Harley during World Ward II. Using the Harley-Davidson’s 1942 WLA Liberator motorcycle as his inspiration, nicely combines the spirit of ’42 with vintage stripped-down Harley lettering.

This piece could be used as a coffee table, storage chest, or even a bench. He has a number of styles with the classic logo on top, but different plays on the lettering. While he takes inspiration from Harley, he adds in his own style making it unique.

This badass custom sugar skull was created by request for a client. Using the “H” and “D” in the skull’s eyes is a stroke of brilliance.

You can’t have vintage without some perfect pin-ups.

Another sign that includes many biker elements, attitude, and a v-twin engine. It’s clean and cool.

The unique wood carved style even works on a custom Harley mug.

Check out this video that shows a little of how Smolders creates a piece.
