Cool Motorcycle Awareness Campaign – Look Twice

This one is an oldie but a goodie that reminds everyone to keep a look out for motorcycles on the roadways. With internal passengers and cell phones use causing distractions for motorists, it’s important to reiterate the need to pay attention and look twice.

This awareness advertisement by Think! Road and Safety Ministry and in the UK, attaches giant neon signs atop each motorcyclist with their name and a descriptor like “New Dad” or “Shy, Retiring Type”. Just because most of us are leather-clad with a full face helmet on does not mean we are not people with robust lives.

As motorcyclists it is our responsibility to remain alert, make ourselves visible to others but often times it’s motorist that need the reminder to look twice and pay attention.
