This YouTube video uploaded by, Harley-Davidson Breakout, spotlights a beautiful example of the breed owned by, ‘Tanner from Virgina.’ His sinister and blacked-out FXSB Breakout looks about perfect, and I wouldn’t change anything.

You don’t get a good look at the entire bike right away – instead the focus is on the rear suspension and exhaust for most of the video. The Vance & Hines Short exhaust sounds a lot more subdued and mellow than I would have expected, while still giving the impression of being powerful with that trademark Harley sound.

I’ve always liked how this system looked, but I just assumed that they would be too loud and unruly for my tastes (a Harley guy saying something’s too loud? Who let this jerk write for HDforums anyway?). I might have to give them a second look.

Back to Tanner’s bike, the action starts around the :40 second mark, when you get to see the Air Ride rear suspension in action. Fully aired out, it gives the bike the aggressive, low-slung look of a hardtail bike, with a much more civilized and comfortable ride. It really is the best of both worlds.

Toward the end, you get to see some of the other custom touches that set this bike apart, like the blacked-out flat handlebars, LED headlight, and Screamin’ Eagle air cleaner. I think you’ll agree that this FXSB Breakout makes for a great overall package.
