H-D Forums Member Shares Amazing Mulholland Drive Motorcycle Cruise Down SoCal’s World-Famous Roadway

Southern California’s Mulholland Drive is nearly as famous as its neighbor, the Hollywood Hills. The twisty road with the stunning city views above L.A. has been featured in countless films and songs. You’ll recognize it from David Lynch‘s 2001 classic Mulholland Drive. The scenic thoroughfare is also name-dropped in Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers‘ 1989 hit “Free Fallin’.”

Now, H-D Forums member Eric D., the proud owner of a 2009 Road King and a 2011 Electra Glide Ultra Limited, invites fellow Harley enthusiasts to (virtually) jump on his bike and take a cool cruise down Mulholland.

Eric shares his recent motorcycle adventure via a very cool video shot from his p.o.v. as he skillfully handles the challenging twists and turns on the famous thoroughfare. He takes us on a summer ride all the way down to the Pacific Ocean. Actually, the unique angle of the camera makes you feel more like you’re riding shotgun in a sidecar. And that’s even more awesome in gaining a unique perspective on such an exciting, invigorating roadway.

The retired New Yorker launched his sunny cruise down Mulholland on a weekday, which paved the way for smooth travelling unencumbered by L.A.’s notorious traffic.

Eric’s Harley-riding clip is so sharp and speedy that you can practically feel the Southern California sunshine beaming down and the breeze brushing against your face as he travels past some of L.A.’s most captivating natural beauty.

Currently based in Arizona, Eric is an avid traveler. See more of his many exciting Harley-riding adventures across the U.S. on his travel blog. The loyal H-D Forums member also has a YouTube channel called “Travel with E.” Visit his channel — and join the H-D Forums for free — for more of Eric’s cool riding clips.
