MotoGP Champ Says Harleys Can’t Turn

The circus that is the MotoGP World Championship is making its yearly stop at the Circuit of the American in Austin, Texas, and our friends at Jalopnik had a shot at a cheeky interview with none other than Honda’s Marc Marquez.

While every MotoGP fan out there wants to know about the current state of affairs of the riders and teams, the interview zoomed into Marquez’s personal life, favorite tracks, bikes, vacation preferences, and even Harleys.

Many European riders tend to like sound and muscle of the American Hogs, but when it comes to Marquez,  Harley’s just don’t fit his style. During his interview, Marquez mentioned that he was previously awarded a Harley Davidson 883, but he’s hardly ever ridden it.

When asked if he digs it, he answered, “Yes, I have one. It’s a 883, I won it, but my uncle rides it. Yes, but it’s uhhhh, it’s not really for me (laughing), it doesn’t really turn. It’s better for my uncle.”

While I’m sure no Harley (or most road bikes) can turn like his Repsol Honda MotoGP bike can, it’s somewhat unfair to dog on a Harley like that, no?
