i was wondering how many have upgraded from the stock 2 piece cable with the plastic adjuster , it seems like a fail point over time . im approaching 30,000km on my bike and dont want it leaving me stranded
1. has anyones actually given up or broken ?
2. what did you use to upgrade if could share brand etc ? im not sure if HD had a upgrade on that?
maybe im also looking for a problem that isnt there to begin with also .
Fatbaggers makes a cable setup, still 2 piece, that has the adjuster up by the bars, along with a new aluminum sleeve for the downstairs section.. Works good and no worries of fractured plastic.
