Truck-Motorcycle hybrid

In the name of all that is Harley, why would anyone do this?!?

So, we were just hanging out the other night, checking out motorcycles online. We love to see what cool mods and slick bikes are online, and possibly on sale. And then we came across this atrocity. Oh, the humanity.

We discovered the…thing…on Reddit. It was posted by user Greenmcmanus who entitled the post “What kind of redneckery is this?!” No offense meant, some of our dearest friends might fall under that definition.

Now, let’s try to break down this tadpole-looking truck cycle. It would seem its engineer welded the bike to the cab, somehow. We’re guessing a lot of duct tape was probably used.

It appears as if the V Twin engine is powering this truck in a Dr. Frankenstein-styled automotive atrocity. We’re not sure how this thing drives, turns, or backs up. It is confusing, to say the least. Was this intended to be a truck version of a trike?

We’re also not sure why there is a tank of propane!

A fellow Redditor, Drone42, pointed out that it likely isn’t propane. “It’s a refrigerant jug, color indicates R-22. It’s probably the fuel tank, considering there doesn’t seem to be one on the motorcycle frame.” Good catch.

But the comments offered some great jokes. One poster, Inu_Yasha, simply said, “Mother-in-law seating.” Another wrote, “Still better than the Polaris slingshot.” And Ketamineandkebabs declared “It’s the automotive mullet!”

Honestly, we’d kind of like to see it from a few other angles to see if it makes any sense. And we definitely want to see it drive!

We want to know your thoughts on this motor-truck hybrid. Let us know in the comments, or sound off in the forums.
