This LV’s House of Boost H-D Road King is a Turbo Beast
The vast majority of custom bikes out there are more show than go, and that isn’t always such a bad thing. It’s not like any motorcycle is exactly “slow,” especially when compared to their four-wheeled counterparts. But for the brave few, there are plenty of “go fast” parts available for later model Harleys.
One shop that cranks out seriously fast customs is ‘LV’s House of Boost,’ which as you can tell from the name, produces turbocharged H-Ds that are capable of winning both show trophies and outrunning the competition at the same time.
This particular LV creation is based on a 2014 Road King that has been painted in a gorgeous Tribal Orange with black accents. The bike manages to look both sinister and flashy at the same time, which hints at the performance that lies underneath.
Power comes courtesy of a Twin Cam Screamin’ Eagle 110ci motor built by LV. Already a torquey motor that pulls like a horse off the line, the addition of a turbo really cranks things up a notch and provides prodigious power all the way through the power band.
If you like your show with a little bit of go, you might want to check out a bike like this Road King. It may not be cheap, but it’s hard to put a price on the joy that turbo will bring you when it spools it up!
