Summer Guide: Harley Davidson Women’s Sunglasses

As a Harley rider you are passionate about your bike and the Harley
Davidson lifestyle. As summer rolls around you probably find yourself
hitting the open road more often. Having the right clothes is important
from a safety point of view, but you’ll want to do it in style. The
right sunglasses can provide some of that style. If you ride with an
open face helmet or no helmet, sunglasses are also safety equipment.
They keep road debris and insects out of your eyes and that can help you
to see better. Harley Davidson sunglasses are made with both style and
safety in mind.Harley has a couple levels of eyewear, regular sunglasses
and performance eyewear.

Sunglasses

Harley has just one women’s style of standard sunglasses. The HDS
479, the sunglasses have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of
$30.00. They have a plastic frame, chrome end piece and polycarbonate
lenses. While there is only one style for ladies, there are choices in
terms of frame and lens coloration. You can check these sunglasses out
on Harley Davidson’s website, but they sell them only in stores. So, you’ll need to stop by your dealer when you are ready to purchase.

Performance Eyewear

Harley Davidson’s Performance Eyewear line is specifically designed
with motorcycle riding in mind. They are built with durability in mind,
but Harley Davidson doesn’t stop there. In addition, the glasses are
meant to lightweight and to maximize road visibility no matter the
conditions. Those factors make Harley Davidson Performance Eyewear a
great choice.

There are thirteen styles of Harley Davidson Performance Eyewear
available in 2010 for female riders. While some of them are available
only in stores, you can order over half of them online. There are two
price points for those glasses: $75 and $95.

$75 Glasses

Six styles of the lady’s Harley Davidson Performance Eyewear list for
$75. The Allover Print features Italian styling and the Harley bar logo
in the design. There are two designs under the “Spirited Performance
Eyewear” banner. Both feature Italian craftsmanship. One is called
“Diamond Ice” in terms of frame color and the others are gloss black
Both have smoke lenses. There are two styles under the “Jettison
Performance Eyewear” name. One is gloss black with smoke lenses and the
other is tortoise with brown lenses. The final $75 model is called
“Cycle Diva Performance Eyewear” and they come in black with smoke
lenses. The Allover and Spirited glasses are available in-store only,
but the others can also be purchased online.

$95 Glasses

There is a $95 dollar version of the “Cycle Diva Performance Eyewear”
and the difference is that the lenses transition based on light
conditions. The other styles that run $95 are the Silver Banner and
several variants of a style called “Sassy.” All but two of the Sassy
line can be purchased in-store or online.

Sunglasses are more than a fashion statement when you are a Harley
rider. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be stylish. You ride a Harley,
so Harley shades are really part of the picture.
