THROWBACK AD Supporting Uncle Sam

Throwback Thursday is a fun day for me. Delving into old advertising and looking at those moments in time encapsulated by what manufacturers are trying to sell.

In the case of this particular ad HD is reminding us of their unwavering support for Uncle Sam and the man and women in uniform.

While these were sent into the fray on the Mexican frontier HD has supported the war effort time and time again when called upon.

Globalization is happening with everything but this is a reminder that sometimes you need to be able to make products right here at home. In war you can’t wait for another nation to send you parts. Thank you to HD and all of the great American companies that have supported the military and all services.
