2012 harley softtail slim
Wow JCSLIM you didn't waist any time on it. I am very new to the Harley world and almost as new to these forums ... Is there a post where you have listed out all your mods. I am very intrested in a few of the things you have done, love the rear fender.
They are loud but not over the top. They sound deep and are a huge improvement over the stock cans.
A couple of you have asked what I did to my 2012 Softail Slim. I list out what I can remember:
Rinehart Crossback exhaust
Derby Sucker Air Cleaner
Milwaukee Twins oil tank & custom built oil lines (not a simple undertaking)
Roland Sands Clarity Cam Cover
Roland Sands Clarity Derby Cover
Lucky F*cker rear fender - custom mounting brackets and welding (not a simple undertaking, it is NOT bolt on as Custom Chrome might lead you to believe)
Detroit Brothers linkage
Modified Retro stop light/license plate bracket
RevTech Speedstar wheels, rotars & pulley
Chrome Brembo brake calipers
Chrome braided all lines
LED front turn signals that mount flush against side covers (drag book)
LED rear turn signals that will mount very stealthly on rear fender (back-ordered)
Brake and heel/toe shift levers (drag book)
HD seat, mirrors, magnum grips, & swingarm bag
Black rocker covers
Black primary cover
Black trans top cover
Black trans side cover
Relocated coil & horn

For Two up riding:
Fold down passenger pegs (drag book)
Modified Rocker passenger seat assembly
Rinehart Crossback exhaust
Derby Sucker Air Cleaner

That has to be one of my favorite slims so far.
Digging the Cam and Derby covers.
The whole purpose of me not going on the FatBoy Lo thread was not to spend more money.
Is any thread safe here?
Great looking bike.

Hey guys, i'm looking into getting a vivid black slim this week and I have a question for all the current owners. How much did you guys end up paying? I'm looking at around 17900 out the door. This is without the extended warranty but includes the security package. Is this fair, high, low? Thanks in advance.
All I have done so far is put a small windshield on, with some tint, and I moved the License Plate and Tail Lights to the back. I would like better sound but I love the way these pipes look so not sure what to do with pipes yet.

I also removed the heel shifter, it was in my way.

I really dig the slim, but those factory rear signals are HORRIBLE!
JCSlim....looks great, what all had to be done to the Rocker seat st up to make it work? I am thinking of going to a "rigid style" fender and was thinking this would be a good fix for two up....thanks
