Default Right thigh heat

Anyone else notice the heat on the under side of your right thigh more in the cool weather than you do in the heat of summer? I got out for a bit tonight and it was 68 degrees out and I think I notice the heat more when it's cool out than when it's hot out. I guess when it's 95 it's just hot all over so I don't really notice it. But when it's cool and you feel the chill of the air it's easy to notice the heat from the motor because it's the only heat there....lol... I've done the stage 1 so it's not burning hot or anything just noticable because everything else is cool from the 60deg air. Love time of year in Texas!!

Yep. When the weather is hot, you're hot all over and don't notice it so much. My right thigh used to cook!! Stage 1, tuner, and dyno solved all that. Much cooler to ride, and faster to cool down after I get off it.

The twin cooled doesn't heat up like the Heritage did, but yeah...it still kicks out some warmth. More so if I close the lower vents. Feels good on a chilly Fall night!

Trouble with the modern stuff is the lean running for emission regs. Unless you have a custom fuel map done with se tuner, you'll never get a cool running motor. I have had dealer download and a custom fuel map, and noticed about 30-40 deg higher oil temp with the download.

I did notice the under right thigh felt warmer in the 37 degree mornings on my Oregon
trip two weeks ago. I feel that the wind blast was cooler on the rest of my body, so the
heat from my still stock exhaust, I could felt the warmness on the lower part of my right
thigh was quite noticeable in the cool morning air.

This was my thought exactly! I've ridden all summer in the Texas heat and never really noticed the motor heat because everything was hot around me. But then my first ride in sub 70 deg temps I could actually feel the hot air rising and warming the back of my thigh. It's not burning hot or uncomfortable but it was more noticable with the cool air temp around me. I was just curious if anybody else noticed the warmth now that temps are cooling off.
