Default Trailering the "Low" Models

Anyone tried to load one of the new '15 Low models onto a typical utility trailer (ramp style)? Not that I plan on doing it but was wondering if the lowered suspension would create a problem when the bike crests the meeting point of the ramp and the trailer bed. Is it going to clear - when on level ground?

There is no answer to that question.

Because there are too many variables.

-length of trailer
-height of hitch
-length of ramp
-height of trailer deck

The longer the trailer, the less the height of hitch affects the angle of the ramp
The higher the hitch, the less the angle of the ramp
The longer the ramp, the less the angle of the ramp
The higher the trailer deck, the greater the angle of the ramp

Agreed regarding the variables, but I'm certain the initial question can be answered: "Has anyone tried it and run into a problem where they didn't have a problem with a previous non-low touring bike?" Perhaps this clarified question should have been stated in my initial post.

Good question. I'm selling my 2 place sled trailer. I will be buying either open or enclosed motorcycle trailer. I haven't read of anyone complaining yet, but bike is pretty new. My street glide is about same height.

Dealer picked mine up and returned it a few days later using an enclosed trailer with a ramp. No problems at all.

I have a 1996 low rider that has been lowered, when ever I put it in a trailer I have to put a board or two under the ramp part to bring it up to minimize the "crest", no big deal.
