battery tender circuit
nevermind, got it. thanks
2 questions:
1. How do you remove the fuse cover? see pic
2. I may have shorted the battery tender circuit and want to check the fuses/relays. Which fuse/relay monitors the battery tender charge circuit?
Thanks

I don't have a Rushmore, but the fuse box cover should either just pull off or have a small clip on either side. I don't know what type of tender you have, but most have an inline fuse on the leads; has nothing to do with fuse box. Check the tender leads first before anything on the bike.

nevermind, got it. FYI, Battery tender circuit goes to 20 amp fuse on P&A circuit. I replaced fuse and now ok.
Lesson learned, I tried to get a battery draw test from the battery tender circuit ( yes I am a Dumb F+ck) and blew the fuse.
I checked shop manual circuit chart and showed the above , good charts in manual.

That's a dealer-installed tender lead. The factory tender on the Rushmore touring bikes is under the left side cover. A lot of dealers don't even know this, so they install tender leads.
