2016 Rushmore Ultra Limited
Been a member since 2006. I'm currently in the process of replacing a 2007 Ultra that was totaled last July. Very interested in the 2016 Ultra Limited however I have to admit I don't recall a model year that has generated fewer comments on this forum. The 2007 was the first 96 with a noisy 1st and 5th gear. No lack of input here. Am I missing something? Are the '16s that good or that bad? Any and all input is appreciated.

traded my 07 in early fall for a 15 limited so far lovin it. the wet head runs so much better the bike doesn't run like crap when hot. handles better rides good makes more power than my stg1 96. stereo huge improvement. few minor recalls and a couple guys with lifter failure. no rocks in the can no stupid hot no compensator problems no pinging.

I am still in love with my '14 Limited. It sounds like the only difference in '16 is the smaller primary borrowed from the "Low" baggers. Had an 08 ultra anniversary and an 03. Miss the color of my 100th anniversary black and silver ultra, but that's it. If they would have made a better color on the 110 anniversary bikes I probably would be kicking myself, because I would have bought one. Note to self, they always change the bike after the anniversary.

I love my 15 even though there were several recalls and a paint issue on the front fender and Harley took care of everything. Harley should have all the issue's fixed on the 16's that the 14's and 15's had. All of these models are pretty much the same. I say jump on one and take it home. You'll love it.

I have a '16 Limited. Traded in a '12 limited. This is a better handling bike, although I have the high speed wobble which I hope to straighten out. Feels like possibly they did not get the wheel bearings tight enough.
You will still need to change the head pipes as the Cat is pretty hot. Without the Cat it runs pretty cool and the water cooled heads are seamless. The navigation and infotainment system is pretty nice but takes some getting used to.
The HO engine with the high flow air cleaner, head pipes, after market slip_ons, and VH FP3 tuner makes for a pretty brisk ride.
Love the new paint job, mine is Mysterious Red Sunglo, and Velocity Red Sunglo.
